Pass the Community Choice Act – H.R. 1670


On March 24, 2009 Representative Danny Davis (D-IL) reintroduced the Community Choice Act (CCA) [H.R. 1670] in Congress. Families are in crisis, pass the Community Choice Act now! People with disabilities and their families will no longer tolerate being forced into selecting institutions. It's time for Real Choice.

The Community Choice Act is about individual choice. It allows an individual to choose to receive their care in the community, rather than in an institutional setting. We can no longer deny our citizens the right to live where they choose.
